A lovely, pre-1962, high-level view of a bustling Union Street, with trams, cars, lorries and pedestrians all jostling for space on the cobbles.
We're looking south, from the corner with Gordon Street, when two-way traffic was still a feature of the street, as were a host of well-kept independent shops. Sadly, since then, it's all been one way for the street, and it hasn't been up!
