It's 1957, and this mum, with babe in arms, is dashing across the busy 'four corners' junction at Argyle, Union, and Jamaica Streets.
Back then, Boots Corner - Dissy Corner - scene of a million romances and heartbreaks - was just that, a corner. Upstairs was the swanky Adelphi Hotel, which was later incorporated into the ever-expanding chemist.
