A wonderful, sunny glimpse of a bustling 1950s Sauchiehall Street. We're looking at the north side of the street, just west of Cambridge Street, and there's plenty on offer.
You could grab a suit or a dress out of C&A, buy a piano and some sheet music out of Cuthbertson's music shop (good luck getting that home on the caur), grab a coffee in the Central Cafe, buy a pram in Taylor's Baby Carriage Showroom, get pulled in tight in the Corsetier, or disappear below decks for a few frames in the snooker hall.
Just look at all those lovely awnings.
Today, this block is long gone, and the site now home to a Tesco Metro supermarket.
