It's March 1954, and an accident or break down further along the line has brought the city's tram network to a standstill. Mind you, when you have a view like this, all the way down Renfield Street, what's the rush to get home?
We're outside the Odeon Cinema, with the trams all glowing like magic lanterns, the neon and streetlights reflecting off the well-polished setts. You've even got Irn-Bru's Ba-Bru advert winking and blinking at you from high above Central Station.
With nothing to do, the drivers and their clippies are having a natter in the street.
